concerns....

I am a bit concerned that this program with make me really ripped... which isnt what I want. I dont want to look big... I was going through some of the pictures of past PCP women and some of them look really ripped... which is too muscular for me!

I just want to be leaner and actually end up smaller.

Also, I am a bit concerned that this is too much food for me to eat.... I use to eat small meals a day and 6 times a day... but these of these meals are much more than what I can handle. For example, the other day for lunch, I had a salad... and i couldnt force myself to eat the amount that was required of me... I felt so sick afterwards that I wanted to throw up, as I was so full...... Maybe I need to find other forms of veges which are dense so I can just eat less.....

I also feel like I am getting bigger. ugh!!! Its only been 2 weeks, your not suppose to see a different right? When do you start seeing results, after 2 months?

  1. I think you'll understand what I mean here later on, but as we get many more weeks into the project, you'll start to see how you can control that yourself. You're not going to be immediately "ripped", but rather defined, and strong over time.

A friend of mine is about your size, and hated the idea of having really defined muscles. She's been working on it though, and now a few months later, won't stop telling me about her muscle definition.

As for the results, they'll come. Taking photos consistently helps a lot, if you actually want to track your progress. I'd say that around a month I was really starting to feel impressed by myself. It depends on what you put into the workouts, also.

Eat less dense things, definitely. If you have to skimp on something, skimp on the carbs. The amount you intake will lessen shortly, and the amount you'll burn is going to increase.

  2. Just give us a chance Margaret. When you see a photo of someone showing off hard-won muscle, they're usually doing their best to flex. But if you're just walking down the street naturally people won't think "Whoa, she's RIPPED" they'll simply see that you're lean and healthy. Only insecure muscle men walk around all flexed out like that. Regarding food, you've got to eat! We're retraining the way your body responds to food, and that takes a lot longer than two weeks!

Can you put a weekly photo up soon?
